Join us for ACU’s All-State Choir Camp, June 28-July 1, 2023! Our camp offers high school students the tools and experiences they need to be successful in the TMEA All-State Choir audition process. Our camp will focus on all aspects of choral musicianship, including leadership, service, community-building, and being a well-rounded singer.
This year, Evan Ramos joins us as our 2023 Camp Composer. Mr. Ramos’ choral music is published by Hal Leonard, Carl Fischer, and BriLee Music. His works have been performed at colleges, schools, churches and conventions around the world. His pieces, "O Magnum Mysterium", for TTB choir, and “One Light”, for TTB choir won “Best Overall” and “Best in Class” respectively at the 2015 and 2016 TMEA Composition Competition hosted by the College Division. He has music directed, arranged, and orchestrated multiple musicals (including a world premiere and a regional premiere). He has been consistently nominated for "Best Music Direction" and "Best Orchestra" at the Broadway Dallas High School Musical Theatre Awards. Mr. Ramos is a member of TMEA, TCDA, ACDA and ASCAP.
